You can even go out and get them a free make over at a participating beauty retailer. A gift that is very simple and comes from the heart is for those mothers who are a little older and can't really get out to do those types of things would be to simply fix them their favorite meal or dessert. You could also throw in a free house cleaning or simply just sitting down and looking through the photo albums with them. Many mothers enjoy that now days.

There are tons and tons of things that we can do for the mother that we dearly love, even your mother in law. After all they are a mother to, regardless of how stupid men are when it comes to women.
